Kunal Kapoor founded The Luxury Closet about 12 years ago as an e-commerce platform for buying and selling pre-loved designer items. What started as a three-member team in his Dubai apartment is now the largest luxury resale marketplace in the Middle East, with a clientele across 80 countries. Kunal’s foray into retail began when he joined his father to manage the family’s footwear company in India. He then went on to work at Louis Vuitton in Dubai before deciding to start The Luxury Closet.

Kunal has been named one of the top 100 innovators globally by Vogue Business.
