Jacques-Antoine Granjon

CEO, Veepee

After studying at the European Business School (EBS), Jacques-Antoine Granjon's entrepreneurial spirit led him in 1985 to found Cofotex S.A., a wholesale end-of-series products company. In 2000, he saw on the Internet "the possibility of bringing the whole world into a virtual shop featuring online catalogs". He created a new innovative concept: a web platform dedicated to flash sales of branded products.

In 2001, Jacques-Antoine Granjon and his partners launched vente-privee.com in France. He used his experience of destocking end-of-series products from major brands to the internet, focusing on a dual concept: events and exclusivity, while placing customer satisfaction at the heart of his strategy. In 2019, vente-privee.com became Veepee, a leading global brand present in 10 countries.

About Veepee

In 2001, vente-privee rewrote the rules of commerce with the concept of online flash sales events, featuring brand products sold in limited quantities for a limited period (3-5 days), marketed at a highly discounted price, and with high-quality staging. In 2019, bolstered by its European development strategy launched in 2016, vente-privee changed its name and became Veepee, a global brand operating in 10 countries. From its early days as a general retailer specializing in online flash sales for major brands, Veepee has become an expert in every sector in which it operates, from Fashion to Home & Decor, Accessories, Sport, Kids, Travel, Entertainment, Leisure, Beauty, Wine and Gastronomy. Veepee’s partnerships with 7,000 brands enable it to offer the best discounts compared with the recommended retail price. With 5,000 employees, Veepee reached a consumer turnover of 3,2 billion euros incl. VAT in 2023.
