CARLO D’AMARIO, CEO, VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
Italian born Carlo D’Amario is the co-founder and CEO of British Fashion house Vivienne Westwood.
It was during the 1970s, D’Amario started his career in fashion, collaborating and working with innovator Elio Fiorucci to create the famous department store, which became a reference point in Milan for new cultural and artistic trends.
Towards the end of the 1970’s D’Amario met the London born fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and founded their business relationship. He shortly became Westwood’s business partner and took on the role of CEO. Their partnership has seen the brand evolve from cult designer to a global fashion house.
With a design record spanning over forty years, Vivienne Westwood, the designer and iconic British brand is recognized as one of the most influential fashion houses in the world today. Through an extensive distribution network, Vivienne Westwood clothes and products are sold globally through selective licensing and distribution partnerships worldwide, with headquarters and boutiques in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Los Angeles, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and across Mainland China. The house currently produces RTW, bridal, leather goods and Jewellery as well as a range of other accessories, and home ware.
